The Making of "Stories from the lost voices of the Xi'úi "

These are the paintings where I experimented. I was just getting back into art and I had almost forgotten how to mix paint. The paintings weren't always pretty, perfect or subjective. I learned how to handle paint and other mediums within these last two years. I learned what mixes and doesn't mix. I learned that you can make a color darker by adding purple or green instead of just black.

Not only did I learn about paint, but I learned about paper too. The weight, cotton vs synthetic and price differences. Brushes don't always have to cost a lot, you can achieve your look with different tools, you don't always need a brush.

I learned about printers and ink as well as social media content creation. This is the journey I took to get to my series.
